Terms of service.

These terms apply when you use physicsandfiberarts.com or buy a pattern from Physics and Fiber Arts, run by Sadie Nickles ("we", "us"). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

Patterns and your license

Our patterns are digital PDF files. When you buy one, you get a personal, non-transferable license to download, print and use it for your own knitting. You may:

• Make as many items from the pattern as you like, for yourself or as gifts.
• Sell finished items you knit yourself from the pattern in small quantities, with credit to Physics and Fiber Arts as the designer.

You may not:

• Share, resell, upload or distribute the pattern PDF or its contents, in whole or in part.
• Use the pattern for mass or factory production.
• Claim the design as your own.

The patterns, photos, text and design of this site are protected by copyright and remain ours.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Any taxes that apply are shown at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but the price you pay is the one shown when you check out.

Delivery and updates

After payment, we email you a download link. Each link works for 30 days; if yours expires or you lose it, contact us and we'll send a new one. When we correct or improve a pattern you bought, the new version is available from your download page at no charge.

Using the site

Don't misuse the site: no attempts to break or overload it, access what isn't yours, or submit forms on someone else's behalf without their permission.

Pattern accuracy

Every pattern is test-knit before release, but mistakes can slip through. If you find one, tell us and we'll correct it. Results depend on your yarn, needles and gauge, so we can't guarantee a particular finished size or appearance.

Liability

The site and patterns are provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [state/country], except where your local consumer law applies.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. The terms in effect when you placed an order apply to that order.
